Important Note

Poésie sans Voix, for solo vibraphone, was performed by Aditya Ryan Bhat on 14th November 2022. Originally entitled Poésie sans mot, and featuring an 'electronic chorus' (an accompaniment of synthesised voices), Alireza revised the piece into this form without electronics in October 2022. Setting the gestures of speech to music, Poésie is the fourth composition in the series L’Espace du dedans, commissioned by Ensemble HANATSUmiroir. It is based on extracts from the Surrealist poet Henri Michaux's Premières impressions:

Some composers create in silence, for lack of support. We want to give them a free space to express themselves Because our initiative is not just an artistic event - it's a social, political and deeply human act.
