Athens — The Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera


The concert invites audiences into an immersive journey where music, poetry and colour converge to create a space of resonance, imagination and intercultural exchange. Conceived by Ensemble Mêtis, the project brings together composers and performers from the Mediterranean, the Middle East and the United States in a celebration of contemporary artistic creation that transcends borders and traditions.


At the heart of the programme are new works inspired by poetry and colour as powerful vehicles of emotion and expression. These musical landscapes are complemented by repertoire pieces drawn from the respective cultural traditions represented in the project, creating a dialogue between contemporary voices and shared artistic heritage. Through sound, language, and expressive nuance, the programme explores how artistic collaboration can foster openness and human connection in an increasingly fragmented world.
