Tümer Uluçınar is a contemporary composer based in France. His work focuses on instrumental, electroacoustic, and mixed music, exploring the relationship between acoustic and electronic sound. His music is shaped by the interaction of timbre, contrast, time, perception, and form, which together guide the structure of his compositions.
His compositional practice is informed by a broader interest in architecture, abstract visual art, and literature, particularly in the ways these disciplines approach structure, material, contrast, and time.
He holds a master's degree in composition and is currently pursuing a PhD in composition in France. He continues his compositional studies at the Conservatoire de Nice with Michel Pascal and Gaël Navard. His current artistic research explores the perception of time in mixed and electroacoustic composition, investigating how temporal layering, selective attention, and perceptual focus operate within composition and listening.
