She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Iranian Music Performance (Kamancheh) at the University of Art in Tehran in 2013 . Alongside her formal education, she has continuously developed her compositional voice through independent study and international programs, including composition studies with A. H. Eslami and participation in the International Summer Academy of Music (ISAM) in Germany . As a performer, Elham has appeared widely as a Kamancheh player and vocalist in international festivals and concert series, including the Beethovenfest in Bonn, Morgenland Festival in Osnabrück, and performances across Germany, Turkey, and Iran . Her performance practice spans solo, chamber, and ensemble contexts, often engaging with intercultural musical settings. Her compositional work includes chamber music, orchestral pieces, film music, and works based on Kurdish and Iranian musical materials. Notable projects include compositions for choir and ensemble, music for children’s theatre, and recent works such as Where the river hides for chamber ensemble and a string quartet presented in Berlin concert series . Her work frequently explores the relationship between traditional modal systems and contemporary compositional approaches. Elham has received several awards and recognitions, including second prize at the Joseph-Dorfman Composition Competition in Germany and first prize at the Fajr International Music Festival as a Kamancheh performer . Her artistic practice combines composition, performance, and pedagogy, with a particular interest in sound, space, and the cultural and perceptual dimensions of music. Through her work, she seeks to create meaningful connections between musical traditions while developing a distinct contemporary voice.

Some composers create in silence, for lack of support. We want to give them a free space to express themselves Because our initiative is not just an artistic event - it's a social, political and deeply human act.
