Musician
1978
France

Born in 1978, Heidi Braesch studied oboe at the Conservatoire National de Région of Rueil-Malmaison with Daniel Arrignon, where she was awarded a Premier Prix in 1999. She then continued her studies for three years with Heinz Holliger at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg, refining her artistry and expanding her musical horizons.
Driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of early instruments, she also completed an advanced program in Baroque oboe at the Conservatoire of Strasbourg under the guidance of Ann-Kathrin Brügemann.
A holder of the French Certificat d’Aptitude for oboe teaching, Heidi Braesch has taught at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental of Colmar, the Conservatoire Henri Dutilleux of Grand Belfort, and since April 2020, at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Pierre Cochereau in Nice, while maintaining an active career as a chamber musician.
She has also been the oboist of Ensemble Linéa (Strasbourg) since 2002, an ensemble dedicated to the performance of contemporary music.
