NOTICE
The FABULEUSES INTRÉPIDES cine-concert invites young audiences and their families on a sensitive and poetic journey into the worlds of childhood, emancipation, and imagination. Through four animated short films from a variety of cultural backgrounds, the performance highlights fearless heroines who, each in their own way, learn to overcome their fears, assert themselves, and find their freedom.
On stage, Sarah Jeanne Ziegler and Flore Cunci weave a lively, delicate, and playful musical landscape, performed live through voice and a rich array of acoustic instruments. Their sound worlds, with their organic and dreamlike textures, accompany the images with subtlety and sensitivity, creating a truly immersive sensory experience in which music becomes an emotional extension of the narrative.
The music does more than simply illustrate the films: it enters into dialogue with the images, emphasizes movement, accompanies emotion, and also leaves room for silence and imagination. Each instrument becomes a character, each sound a color, offering children a first experience of the cine-concert as a vibrant and expressive artistic form.

BIOGRAPHIES
Flore Cunci
A multi-instrumentalist and performer, Flore Cunci thrives on the wide range of possibilities offered by the performing arts.
Drawing on her classical training in music and dance, as well as cultural studies pursued in Paris, New York and Lyon, she began her artistic career by joining several bands whose styles ranged from dreamlike folk and psychedelic rock to feminist electronic music. She has performed as a violinist, keyboard player, percussionist and singer.
She also explores dance and performance, playing with absurdity, the poetic power of objects, the strength of words and, always, music.
It was therefore with great enthusiasm that she embarked on the creation of the film concert Fabulous and Fearless alongside Sarah Jeanne Ziegler.
Sarah Jeanne Ziegler
A songwriter, composer, singer and guitarist, Sarah Jeanne Ziegler combines sensitive pop-folk music with a warm, deep and distinctive voice.
Her new EP, Le Ciel n’en Finit Pas, has recently been released through Believe Digital. She also composes music for film and visual media and leads numerous creative music workshops for very young children through the Môm’Artre network.
Echoing the title of her first EP, L’Échappée, Sarah Jeanne Ziegler left behind her studies at Sciences Po and, following a period in Canada, chose to devote herself fully to music. Initially influenced by North American folk singer-songwriters, she later began writing increasingly in her native language, French.
A versatile artist, she draws inspiration from her passion for cinema and its emotional and visual dimensions. Fabulous and Fearless, created with Flore Cunci, is her third film-concert production.
