Aurés Moussong completed his Bachelor’s studies in Musical Composition in Mexico City. He holds a Master’s degree in Composition from the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and the Universität der Künste Berlin, and completed a specialization at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg with Daniel D’Adamo. He recently completed a CAS in Composition with Dieter Ammann at Hochschule Luzern – Musik. His work has received awards in international competitions such as Ibermúsicas (Portugal), CHINA-CEEC (China), Egidio Carella (Italy), and WoCe (Hungary). His piece Dialogue à quatre was premiered at the Festival Musica in Strasbourg, and he was a finalist of the Basel Composition Competition with Macabre Carnaval. Since 2023, he has been a member of Mexico’s Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte. He currently lives and works in Lyon, France.
