Bruno Boulzaguet initiated the NTA programme and currently coordinates it.

After earning an engineering degree in Toulouse, he began studying drama at the Conservatoire of Paris’s 10th arrondissement. His artistic training was subsequently shaped by Anatoli Vassiliev’s teaching methods.

As an actor, he has worked with directors whose artistic approaches and creative processes vary widely, including Coline Serreau, Benno Besson, Éric Vigner, Olivier Py, Laurent Vacher, Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, Agathe Alexis, Julie Béres and Guy-Pierre Couleau.

He is also a theatre director with the Theodoros Group, creating a new production every three or four years in partnership with venues such as Théâtre 71, L’Échangeur, Le Gymnase in Marseille, Théâtre de l’Atalante and the CCAS in Vandœuvre. The company has received support from DRAC Île-de-France, ADAMI and SPEDIDAM.

His productions include Misérable Miracle, based on Henri Michaux; Une vie de rêve(s), based on C. G. Jung; Sept propos sur le septième ange, based on Michel Foucault; and Consolation, based on Stig Dagerman. He also co-wrote and directed Palestro, an autobiographical work about the Algerian War. His productions are often developed in close collaboration with composers and musicians. Mémoire-Chorale returns to the stage this season.

Alongside his artistic work, he leads numerous educational workshops in secondary schools and universities. He has worked with the preparatory drama programme in Mulhouse, the Jeune Troupe de l’Atalante—which he founded in 2014—and the École supérieure des comédien·ne·s par l’alternance (ESCA), where he has taught since 2013.

Since 2022, he has developed NTA as a platform for knowledge-sharing, mentorship, collaboration and support, providing young artists with guidance as they develop new work.

Faire un don

Certains artistes créent en silence, faute de soutien. Nous souhaitons leur offrir un espace de liberté d'expression. Car notre initiative n'est pas seulement un événement artistique, c'est un acte social, politique et profondément humain.
