OCÉAN

CONCERT
In June 2025, Nice will become the focal point of global discussions on the future of our oceans as it hosts the third United Nations Ocean Conference. In resonance with this major event, the NIMFA Festival concludes its first edition with a concert celebrating the deep connection between music and the ocean.
This program invites the audience on a musical immersion where contemplation, motion, and innovation intertwine. It opens with Vox Balaenae, the iconic work by American composer George Crumb, inspired by the songs of whales. Using extended techniques and amplification, the piece creates a mystical, timeless atmosphere, evoking the vastness of the oceans and the profound voice of nature.
