| The scientific sessions will be held from the morning of Tuesday 14th April until the afternoon of Friday 17th April. |
| An Intra-conference fieldtrip will take place on Wednesday 16th April, focusing on various aspects of Llancanelo and Payun Matru volcanic fields. |
| Pre-conference fieldtrip in northwestern Argentina will start on 9th April and last three days. |
| Pre-Conference Course: An Introduction to Volcanic Risk Management, Assoc. Prof. Shane J. Cronin, Massey University, will take place on 12th April. |
| Pre-conference Malacara tuff cone and Carapacho tuff ring fieldtrip will take place on 13th April. |
| Post-conference fieldtrip to the Chubut Diatremes will be from 18th April to 22nd April. |
| Onsite Registration will start on Monday 13th April 2009 followed by an ice-breaker cocktail. |
| Registration and Abstract Submission will start on 1st September, 2008 |
| The deadline for abstract submission and early registration will be 15th November 2008 (notifications of acceptance will be sent out by the end of January 2009). |
